Jackson County Kentucky Sheriff Denny Peyman — Upholding the 2nd Amendment
Another Patriot Sheriff Announcing His Support of the Second Amendment
Denny Peyman, Jackson County Kentucky Sheriff, refuses to allow the citizens of his county to be disarmed. He says, rightly so, that he is responsible for the safety of his citizens, and that the best way to help maintain their safety is to allow them to carry firearms for self defense.
Additionally, he states, rightly so, that as Sheriff he is the top law enforcement official in the county. And as such, he may ask any State or Federal Agent to leave his county if they are attempting to enforce unconstitutional laws.
Rock on Sheriff Peyman!
These three videos capture Sheriff Peyman’s announcement at a Town Hall meeting. It’s inspiring to know we have such patriotic Sheriffs occupying their offices!
US Flag Rallies Colorado
A Message from the Organizer:
“The goal of the Flag Rallies is to create a space where others can stand united in the public eye, supporting each other and the Constitution of the United States. The Flag Rallies will be monthly rallies to which our community feels welcomed to come and ask questions, and furthermore are openly welcomed to join and stand with us.
“The monthly US Flag Rallies are not single issue protests or rallies. They are a platform to which others are encouraged to attend united under one flag. A monthly opportunity to be seen by the public, welcoming our community to talk to us and become more educated and aware on many issues, although at times an individual issue will immediately be at hand.
“The March Flag Rally has been scheduled for the 23rd, which is the same weekend as the Montrose Rode & Gun Club Gun Show. This month’s Flag Rally is an excellent opportunity for others to take advantage of protesting attacks on our 2nd Amendment rights.”
National Day of Resistance Rally
Montrose Colorado, 02-23-2013
A Gathering of Like-Minded Patriots
We gathered from noon till 2pm, on the corner of Main & Towsend streets in downtown Montrose Colorado. The display of flags and signs, many of them handmade, drew attention from passersby. Pedestrians stopped to talk with us, to learn more about what we were doing and what we stood for. Cars & trucks honked and waved to show their support for our position.
Although loosely coordinated with the National Day of Resistance Movement, this event was planned and promoted only a few days prior to its taking place. For such short notice, I’d say there was a respectable turnout.
There are plans afoot for a recurring demonstration, to be held at this location once every month. Learn more about US Flag Rallies at their Facebook page:
Weld County Colorado Sheriff John Cooke Stands Up for The Constitution
Joins Other Colorado Sheriffs in Refusing to Enforce Newly Enacted Gun Control Measures
From Fox News — March 17, 2013
Weld County Sheriff John Cooke won’t enforce new state gun measures expected to be signed into law by Democratic Gov. John Hickenlooper, arguing the proposed firearms restrictions give a “false sense of security.”
Lawmakers in Colorado on Friday approved a landmark expansion of background checks on firearm purchases. Earlier in the week, Colorado lawmakers approved a 15-round limit on ammunition magazines.
Both measures are awaiting the expected approval of the governor.
Cooke told GreeleyTribune.com that Democrats in the state legislature are uninformed and scrambling in response to the Aurora movie theater shooting and other recent tragedies. Continue reading →

We Need More Politicians of This Ilk!”
Nathan Dahm is a freshman state senator in his first term in Oklahoma. Here he is, giving an impromptu speech shortly before Obama’s 2nd-term inauguration. If we can find more like this guy, we might be able to return our government to its rightful position, and simultaneously regain all of the rights we have surrendered over the decades.
