I was perusing Remus’ WoodPileReport and came across this video.
I figured that with all the uproar about Gun Control and the Federal Government once again flexing its muscle, I should post the video.
This video is not about gun control. It is about a Justice Department gone Way Out Of Control.
I believe we can expect to see more actions like those presented here. Gun owners and gun stores can expect this type of action as a matter of course. But these are not gun dealers … these are upstanding small businesses, well-respected in their communities.
Mountain Pure Water, Gibson Guitar & Duncan Outdoor
Three small business entities, each raided by Federal Agents … all sustained major losses and yet no charges were filed. We’re not even sure that the warrants were legal, and they certainly were not served in any reasonable, legal manner.
It’s been over a decade since I’ve been actively interested in the mechanics of the Feds, and their Justice Department’s tactics. I watched with disdain as previous administrations attempted to quash citizens’ rights. After all the paramilitary tactics employed by Janet Reno & the Clintons, I was pleased when their efforts ultimately failed, and America returned to its roots, at least as far as gun rights were concerned.
As more and more states allowed their citizens to carry concealed weapons, and the violent crime rates in those states steadily declined, I assumed that our Federales had finally caught on, and would stop pursuing their unrealistic objectives of disarming the public.
However, with Obama’s rise to power, the hackles on my neck stood up, and I (correctly) predicted that we would witness several shooting sprees, probably in malls and schools. (I hadn’t actually considered theaters, but it fits the model — any gun-free zone is ripe for the pickin’.)
I will talk more about the folly of gun control, but that is in another post.
I guess the moral of the story is don’t get on Eric Holder’s shit list. But I have no idea what it would take to get on it, let alone stay off it!
Enjoy (if that’s the right term) the video, and pass it along to any who may have an interest in knowing what your tax dollars are up to these days.
